What the earlier article described
The pendant article described a torso-worn device designed to recognize possible falls and alert designated contacts. It described a 20-second vibration window in which the wearer could cancel an alert, followed by notification to designated Ruxshaks if the alert continued.
The article also discussed missed detections and false alarms. Its comparisons with wrist-worn devices and its performance statements are historical marketing claims, not a current independent evaluation.
